In Demarcia, you are the Lord who has the initiative to build and develop your city. However, it is far more difficult to manage your city and fight against others only by yourself. No worries! As long as you continue upgrading your Tavern in your Town, more and more strong heroes will be attracted here to work for you.
After recruiting the heroes, you can check the information of them in the Hero panel: Avatar, Name, Level, Experience, Leadership, Intelligence, Politics, Attribute, Mana and Salary. Players can also Dismiss, Redistribute, Rename, Reward and Upgrade each hero here.
Attributes of the Hero
The recruitable hero' name will be listed in the Tavern automatically. There are three main attributes for the hero: Politics, Leadership and Intelligence. Politics affects the construction speed. Leadership affects army's attack force. Intelligence affects researching speed and magic damage. The points of the 3 attributes are generated automatically, ranging from 1 to 100. The heroes cannot be attacked or captured as there is no loyalty for them. At the end of the combat, they will come back to your Town soon.
The secondary attributes of the hero is Mana, the initial points of which is 100 (also the Max value). It is one of the two requirements for release the skills in the combat. The Mana points in the offensive warfare will be decreased by 3 or 5 according to whether the hero has won or lost. However, the Mana will be increased by 1 point per hour. Continuous attacks will lead to invalid release of skill gradually. If you have won in the defensive warfare, the Mana will not be decreased, otherwise it will.
You can use corresponding items to Redistribute or Reward the hero. For example, if your hero is Lv 9, after redistributing, his level will degrade to Lv 1 and 40 attribute points (Each upgrade contains 5 attribute points) will be returned to your hero.
Skills of the Hero
The skills can only be released in the combat, which is divided into 3 types.
1. Skill of Damage: Cause damage to the enemy troops when released. It does damage to single target, multi-targets or group according to its range. The higher Intelligence the hero has, the better the effect of the skill.
2. Skill of Recovery: Recover the troops when released. It has an effect on single target, multi-targets or group according to its range. The higher Intelligence the hero has, the better the effect of the skill.
3. Skill of Auxiliary: Weaken the fighting capacity of the enemies or strengthen that of your troops. Auxiliary skills all affect on the group. The higher Intelligence the hero has, the better the effect of the skill.
Equipment of the Hero
The Lord can get the equipment from attacking the wilderness outside the Town, completing the designated Quests and defeating the NPC cities or other players. Player's level has an effect on the equipment level. Player cannot wear the equipment whose level is higher than that of the Lord. The equipment gaining from defeating other players is not directly dropping from that player. Each hero can equip 6 slots of unbound equipment at most.
